Scoliosis Support Groups

A Space to Connect, Share, and Heal

Scoliosis isn’t just about curves in the spine — it’s about the emotional toll it can take, especially when you feel like no one around you truly understands what you’re going through.

Whether you’re dealing with:

  • Chronic pain or fatigue

  • Negative body image

  • Anxiety or frustration with treatment

  • Feelings of loneliness or being misunderstood

…you are not alone.

This group is for YOU if…

  • You have Scoliosis (whether newly diagnosed or long-term)

  • You’ve ever felt isolated, judged, or “different”

  • You want to connect with people who actually get it

  • You’re looking for emotional support, practical strategies, and genuine connection

  • You want a cost-effective alternative to individual therapy

  • You’re ready to start healing — from the inside out

Why join a Support group?

Support groups offer a unique kind of healing that individual therapy sometimes can’t.
Here’s what you’ll gain:

Validation – Hear “me too” from people who understand
Connection – Build friendships and reduce isolation
Emotional Support – Share and process your experiences
Guidance – Learn tools to manage stress, shame, anxiety, and self-criticism
Affordability – Access support without the high cost of 1:1 therapy
Empowerment – Discover you’re more than your spine

You don’t need to explain your pain or defend your experience — you just need to show up as you are.

Each 60-minute weekly Zoom session is semi-structured, meaning you’ll have:

  • A focused discussion theme each week (Get to know the group, body image, navigating emotions, and pain)

  • Opportunities to share your story or simply listen — no pressure

  • Simple self-reflection tools, mindfulness prompts, or journaling activities, and worksheets

  • A supportive community, led by a scoliosis-informed Registered Psychotherapist
